Disc Rotor - Silk

The Silk disc rotor is compatible with most brakes with six bolt fitment available in 140mm, 160mm, 180mm and 203mm sizes. Manufactured from stainless steel which is heat treated and ground for flatness, by a world leading disc manufacturer. The Silk design offers smooth effective braking and a light weight design. Rounded outer edge for UCI compliance and safety, perfect lightweight option for road bikes and mountain bikes. Notice the holes vary in height to keep the pad contact area the same right across the pad to prevent uneven wear and pulsing issues, its all the little details which set this apart from generic rotors in performance.

For maximum brake power and reliability its recommended to replace rotors frequently as they are a wear item. Worn rotors are a prime cause of disappointing brake performance especially when fitting new pads as you are attempting to mash a new flat pad into a concave worn rotor surface!
