Almost killed my Blue Pig. This skewer has very little clamping force compared to a decent one. New build, I'd checked the skewer was tight before we set off, and on a gentle climb my bike spat the back wheel out, twisting the area of plate around the brake side dropout. Luckily the frame is steel, but it took an hour from my LBS then an extra hour of tweaking from me to get the frame true with

Very very nice and light. However, I wanted something more powerful and I have chosen the through axle front and rear of 9 and 10 mm, of course, also Superstar

Had these for almost a year now & they have been trouble free. Have them on a 2012 Scott Genius and have ridden them with 0% issues. Very good & light product and have taken weekly 3ft drops via my local ride home. Very happy :)

Bought some for the GFs bike in an attempt to weight weenie her bike. After getting the superfly seat post QR a month or so beforehand I wasn't too worried about these. They seem to work well, don't come loose and weigh next to nothing.

Usually very happy with Superstar components, but i bought these and sure they do look fancy and they are very light, but for some reason they did not function very well. My front wheel kept on coming loose and so i reverted back to my Shimano Deore ones and have had no problems since. Sorry Superstar, usually a big fan!

does the job perfectly and looks nice, but the lever is so thin it hurts your hand to open/close it if its tightened properly
