Won't Stay Tight

It looks good, is light and seems sturdy. However, no matter how much I tighten it, it slowly works itself open over the course of a spin. -

Some had problems with this item, I'm not one of them. It added stiffness to my otherwise flexy front end. Very happy with this purchase, I was going to buy the DT Swiss RWS 9mm, but instead gave this one a chance. Don't be fooled by the price, cheap doesn't always mean CHEAP QUALITY. This price is the result of direct selling to the customer. The DT version could probably be sold at this -

These through axles are certainly keep the wheels from flexing a lot less compared to the regular quick release skewers. -

i found my pivot mach 429 to flexy with the front wheel a sun ringle black flag pro wheel with a reba 29er shock. i originally plan to change my front fork for a 15mm trough axel but i found a cheaper way to add stiffness on my front fork. i since my front hub is qr or 15 mm i put the 15mm adapter and add another axel adapter 15mm - 9mm and bought a superstar 9mm qr quick release. the superstar qu -
