I first used these pad when I had to borrow a pair from a friend during a weekend riding. All I can say is that the pads have amzing stopping power and are super long lasting. The Shimano pads that I used in my brakes lacked power and felt spongey however in the same brakes the Superstar pads felt strong, powerful and best of all only cost ̏11 per pair compared to the ̏25 Shimano equivilents.
