  • Increase durability, with two sealed bearings and custom German manufactured IGUS bushing in each axle
  • Custom double lip seal internally for ultimate waterprofing
  • CNC machined from custom extruded 6082 aluminium

An evolution of the award winning Nano EVO pedals we have tweaked the platform shape and retained the perfect 110mm x 101mm size. Fitted with a custom axle system with self adjusting and lubricating IGUS bushings, and internal custom double lip sealing for industry leading durability. The new axle system is designed with extremely tight tolerances, so will feel tight in the hand but perfect in use.

With a concave body and thin 17mm profile, we have also strategically beefed up the profile for yet more strength in critical locations. With optamised milling in low stress locations we have dropped the weight from the previous incarnation by 10% yet increased durability. Replaceable custom steel grip pins and forged steel axles for ultimate strength, an ultralight forged titanium axle upgrade is an available option.  Join the tens of thousands of Nano riders already ripping the trails with these superb UK made pedals.

Manufactured with pride in the UK:

We manufacture our Nano X EVO 2.0 pedals using the best technology available. We've installed a state of the art FANUC robot arm to load and unload the Nano X billets into our 24,000RPM FANUC Robodrill, meaning we can make Nano X's 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (want to see more? Check out our manufacturing on the videos tab!)

Once CNC machined, we send our pedals off to a specialist in Manchester, UK to be colour anodised, before they're returned to us to be laser etched using our Trumpf high-precision fibre laser. Then they're assembled by our skilled technicians in our purpose-built assembly room, packaged up and delivered to you.

Its nice when something special doesn't cost the earth!

Tech Specs

  • Weight: 390g (Steel Axles)

  • Weight: Titanium Pins save 17g on standard ones
  • Platform size 101*110mm

The pedal is designed to run without obvious grease, as the bearings are internally lubricated and the bushing is self-lubricating.  A light wipe on the axle surface is all thats needed, adding extra grease will not alter performance but will shorten service intervals.

The extra tight double lip seal is designed to be high contact type and will feel stiff in the hands straight out of the box this is normal. Once fitted and bedded in there will be minimal friction, and will make the internals of the pedal safe from any riding conditions.

The IGUS self adjusting bushing will help eliminate play from worn bushings for much longer service intervals. Again this will feel in the hand to have sticktion but once in use the actual friction will be minimal.

These three features will increase the life of your pedal and make it practically fit and forget. If your current pedals spin like crazy with a light flick this just exposes the poor quality, loose clearance bearings and complete lack of actual seals, it does not mean they are well made! We prefer to make high quality products which will last, particularly for typical UK conditions.

Second set of Superstar pedals, bought on offer May19. Same great shape and grip as earlier Nano pedals :) I used them for 4 months from June > September then when I returned to them in December they were terribly stiff. Turns out the axles rusted where they contact the IGUS bushings. Poor sealing/reliability as it will now cost ~£25 for service kit and new axles :( Customer Service d

This pedals are great price/performance but they are not so durable as previous generations.... They quickly develop play and on top of that pedal body cracks around holes (Superstar won't replace under warranty since they thnik it is crash related.....but it is just bad design in my opinion - I have seen this cracks on more pedals not just on mine). So if you ride regularly and want pedals f

I bought a pair of Nano-X EVOs in July 2018 to upgrade some cheap ones I had on my old Klein Palomino. They are the best mountain bike pedals I've used. Very well made, great grip (on the smaller pins - which I prefer) and the purple finish still looks good. These are great value for money and I prefer them to the Shimano Saints I use on my other MTB.

On my 3rd pair of Superstars now & have never been able to fault. Paired with a pair of Five Tens can't ever remember slipping a pedal.
