Disc Brake Hose Fitting Kit Alloy
Description
Lightweight 7075 T6 aluminium fittings for most common/popular disc brakes, for use in conjunction with Superstar Components hydraulic hoses. Each kit includes relevant parts for the brake selected, such as inserts and olives, with parts supplied for both front and rear brakes. Please note, alloy fitttings require care when installing. Overtorquing or poor tools will damage these parts. Not sure which kit you need? Please consult our Fitment Guide.
Note: Kit 6 is for new formula brakes with 1 pitch thread, Kit 7 is for magura MT brakes with M5 banjo.

The screws included in the kit no. 2 are not good for the brakes avid juicy 7. are too short. I had to use the old ones. -

Bought the blue kit 2 for my saint M810s, fit perfectly, look great and so light, however they are like the warning says less durable than steel so just be careful tightening them up, there are torque values given for the banjo bolt so no probs there. Do the banjo last and you can eliminate most of the twist in the hose and have them sitting where you want. -

Purchased a blue fitting kit 2 which is supposed to fit Formula RX brakes (2011 model) but it's not even close. Only bits that fit are the banjo end although the bolt is too short so original stainless silver bolt had to be used. At the lever end the Formula collar has a coarse thread as opposed to the fine thread on the superstar part, but this is an issue i brought up with them with their origin
